JSOTF | ATTENDANCE POLICY & ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS JOINT SPECIAL OPERATIONS TASK FORCE All JSOTF personnel are expected to remain active, prepared, and professional within their assigned unit. Attendance, communication, and operational readiness are necessary for training, Field Training Exercises, and official operations. ATTENDANCE EXPECTATIONS Personnel are expected to attend scheduled training, FTX, operations, and other required unit events. Personnel must arrive prepared before the scheduled start time and remain present for the duration of the event unless excused by leadership. All members are responsible for monitoring unit announcements, schedules, and instructions. If unable to attend a required event, personnel must notify their chain of command as early as possible. Repeated unexcused absences, frequent late arrivals, or failure to participate may result in a review of qualifications, assignment, or standing within JSOTF. ABSENCES AND LEAVE OF ABSENCE Personnel requiring time away from JSOTF must notify their chain of command and follow the applicable Leave of Absence process. A Leave of Absence request should include the expected duration of absence and any information required by unit leadership. Approved leave protects a member’s standing during their absence. Personnel are expected to notify leadership when they return. Extended absences without communication may result in removal from an assigned unit, suspension of qualifications, or removal from JSOTF. LATE ARRIVALS Personnel must make every effort to arrive before the scheduled start time. If running late, notify the chain of command immediately. Do not interrupt an active briefing, training session, or operation. Personnel joining late may be required to wait for leadership direction or an appropriate point of entry. Repeated late arrivals may affect eligibility for training, qualifications, specialized assignments, and leadership opportunities. EVENT READINESS Before attending any official JSOTF event, all personnel must have the following: • A working microphone • Required mods installed and functioning • Required uniform and equipment prepared • A stable connection suitable for participation • Knowledge of the event time, location, and assigned element • The ability to communicate and follow instructions • A professional attitude throughout the event Personnel who arrive unprepared may be removed from the event at leadership discretion. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS All personnel must follow JSOTF rules, regulations, and the established chain of command. Members are expected to maintain professional conduct in Discord, on the server, and during all official activities. Proper radio discipline, teamwork, communication, and respect for all personnel are required. Personnel must follow approved uniform, equipment, and mod requirements. Required training, evaluations, retraining, and unit-specific procedures must be completed when assigned. Members must report serious concerns, technical problems, or conduct issues through the appropriate chain of command. Specialized units may establish additional training, attendance, equipment, qualification, and performance requirements. ENFORCEMENT Failure to meet JSOTF attendance, readiness, or conduct standards may result in disciplinary action. Possible actions include verbal warnings, formal warnings, removal from training or operations, required retraining, suspension of qualifications, removal from an assigned unit, temporary suspension, or removal from JSOTF. Disciplinary action is determined by authorized leadership based on the circumstances, severity, and repeated nature of the issue. JSOTF • JOINT SPECIAL OPERATIONS TASK FORCE • MISSION FIRST
