Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MilSim Units. If you are under 16 and located in the European Union, you must have verifiable parental or guardian consent to use this service, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

By accessing or using MilSim Units, you represent that you meet these age requirements. If we become aware that a user does not meet the minimum age requirement, we will terminate their access to the platform.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MilSim Units, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.

3. Account and Authentication

Certain features of MilSim Units require authentication through Discord. By signing in, you authorize us to access basic profile information from your Discord account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to MilSim Units, including unit profiles, descriptions, and images. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute that content on the platform.

You agree not to submit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms.

5. Voting System

MilSim Units provides a daily voting system for ranking units. You agree not to manipulate the voting system through automated means, multiple accounts, or any other method designed to artificially inflate vote counts. Abuse of the voting system may result in removal of votes or suspension of access.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure
  • Impersonate other users or units
  • Scrape or harvest data from the platform without permission
  • Manipulate the voting or ranking systems

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

MilSim Units is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MilSim Units and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the platform.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
