Requirements & Recruitment Process
Joining the unit is straightforward and designed to get you operational without unnecessary barriers.
Prospective members begin by completing the recruitment process through the Discord. Once accepted, you’ll be connected with a trainer who will guide you through the essentials—this includes basic controls, recommended keybindings, and an introduction to StarSim-specific mechanics and expectations.
Rather than a traditional, mandatory Basic Combat Training (BCT), the unit operates on a role-based training model. This means there is no overarching entry course required for all members. Instead, training is focused on MOS/CERT-specific qualifications, allowing you to develop directly within the role you’re interested in while learning what’s actually relevant to your position.
This approach keeps onboarding efficient, flexible, and respectful of members’ time, while still ensuring everyone is properly prepared for operations.
